Configuration Management Analyst - job 1 of 2

Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking a Configuration Management Analyst for its' Product Data Systems Support program at Robins AFB. 

 

Location: Robins AFB, GA. Full-time, on-site required. 

 

In this role, you will:

• Analyze changes of product design to determine the effect on the product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
• Design and establish management documentation.
• Authorize the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.
• Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.
• Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.
• Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.
• Design and implement build procedures that are used to support software product development and use.
• May develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.
• May train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree.
• Experience updating tables and executing queries in Microsoft Access.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Experience developing process documentation.
• Self-motivated, self-supervisory, results oriented.
• Strong organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Must possess a current or recent (90 days) Common Access Card (CAC) and the ability to maintain.
• Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Must be able to work on-site at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
