The Sleep Neurobiology and Psychopathology (SNaP) Laboratory investigates the relationship between sleep disturbance and mental health with a goal of informing the development of novel treatments. We are currently seeking a student coop to assist with research reevaluating the diagnosis of insomnia.
Responsibilities may include:
-participant recruitment and screening
-accompanying staff to participants’ homes for data collection
-acquiring, entering and analyzing research data
-meeting with study team weekly
-general assistance with study team research projects
We are seeking candidates who are available 20 hours per week during the summer. Candidates should also possess the following qualifications:
- Background or interest in psychology
- Interest in working with clinical patient populations
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
