We’re looking for an Email Marketer to work closely with one of our clients - an ambitious, purpose-driven organization building a powerful new category in the education and coaching space. This role is best suited for someone who’s part storyteller, part strategist - with strong instincts for content that moves people, and deep fluency in email marketing as a driver of growth. You’ll handle end-to-end campaign execution, from planning and copywriting to email flows, landing pages, and campaign reporting.

As required, you'd get involved in working across paid and social channels to expand reach and test messaging, but your primary focus area would be content and email.

Accountability

As an Email Marketer, your success will be defined by your ability to plan, create, and execute email and content-led campaigns that inspire action and drive conversions. You’ll bring a full-funnel mindset to every campaign, pairing strategic clarity with hands-on execution.

Email Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Build, launch, and optimize multi-touch campaigns across email, landing pages, and social channels, as required.
  • Develop compelling narratives and campaign concepts that align with brand goals and audience needs.
  • Write clear, emotionally resonant copy for email sequences, landing pages, and key campaign assets.
  • Use no-code and low-code tools (like Leadpages, Canva AI, Zoho, Beehiiv, etc.) to execute campaigns.

Email Marketing & Funnel Ownership

  • Own and manage all lifecycle and campaign-based email flows, including onboarding, promotional, and re-engagement sequences.
  • Build email journeys that reflect an understanding of user psychology and decision-making behavior.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion) and test subject lines, content, and cadence.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Define and measure campaign success using data from Zoho, Customer.io, or other analytics platforms.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to optimize future campaigns.

Colleagues

Your primary stakeholder will be your high-performing client team that values speed, clarity, and purpose. You’ll collaborate closely with other members of the marketing team and work with other stakeholders as required.

At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from your Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.

Skills and Qualifications

At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals—those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As an Email Marketer, your vertical focus will be campaign execution and conversion copywriting, while your horizontal strengths should span design instinct, automation, and analytics.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Language Skills: Professional fluency in English, with excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience: At least 6 years in marketing with proven experience launching content-led, email-first campaigns that convert.
  • Copywriting: A sharp instinct for persuasive writing and content that performs across digital channels.
  • Email Platforms: Experience with tools like Beehiiv, Zoho, Customer.io, or similar platforms.
  • Campaign Execution: Comfort using no-code tools like Leadpages, Canva AI, and Zapier to execute campaigns.
  • Analytics: A data-driven mindset - you know what to track and why it matters.
  • Growth Mindset: Comfortable experimenting, learning fast, and iterating forward.

  • Email Marketing: How have you built and optimized email flows to improve conversions or retention?
  • Content Creation: What’s your approach to campaign storytelling, and how do you craft high-impact copy?
  • Campaign Planning: How do you build campaign timelines, collaborate with creative, and stay on track to launch?
  • Cross-Channel Experience: Have you contributed to or supported social and paid campaign elements?
  • Analytics & Reporting: How do you determine what worked—and how to improve for next time?

Role Specifications

This is a remote role, where you will be expected to work a split shift with some overlap with our client’s time zone. You will, however, be expected to be present for in-person training programs during your first 90 days with us.
