Skills
- Experience in API support or 3+ years of software development.
- Expertise with Java, JSON, or third-party REST APIs.
- Technical writing proficiency.
- Experience with SQL, WebSockets, Java, C++, .NET is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to firms through remote assistance, addressing vendor inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
- Triage and manage service interruption cases ensuring timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other departments on new product launches.
- Maintain communication with API vendor development teams and retail API users via community forums.
- Take ownership of support cases with full follow-up to resolution.
- Advocate for developers by driving feature requests and requirements with Product and Engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain expertise in NinjaTrader’s product offerings, technical design, and API capabilities.
Education
- Relevant software development or technical education preferred.
