We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Information Systems Administration Generalist focusing on Software Asset Management based out of Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Manually create or modify IT software asset records and associated contract records in appropriate software repository.
• Update IT software license asset records, software license contracts and software maintenance agreements and associated relationships
• Process software related requests (new requests, changes, upgrades, renewals)
• Partner with vendors to fully understand licensing agreements and offerings
• Contributes to the team’s understanding, tracking, and forecasting of software licenses by collaborating with the teams and clearly explaining the software license agreements and management processes and procedures

Basic Qualifications  

• Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of IT experience is required.
• Current/Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance
• Must possess a current DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher prior to start date (example: Security+ CE)
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Tier 1 vendor license models (Microsoft, RedHat, VMWare, Atlassian, Cisco, etc.)
• Familiarity with working alongside or through Value Added Resellers (VARs)
• Hands-on experience with license optimization or reclamation efforts
• Understanding of licensing metrics such as PVUs, CALs, concurrent, and user-based models
• Experience with asset tracking or ITSM platforms like Flexera, ServiceNow, or Snow
• Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or equivalent certification
• Experience supporting software compliance in classified environments

Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
