Hybrid – Buffalo, NYOur Environmental Health and Safety Team in Corporate Group is hiring a Senior Instructional Designer!
In this role, you will develop and set the strategy & standard for EHS training materials used to develop, design, administer and implement processes to consolidate, standardize over 100 different EHS learning curriculums and their associated materials.
To be considered for the Senior Instructional Designer role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as media, communications, or education.
Over eight (8) years of experience training and coaching others, designing multimedia learning materials, and developing learning curriculums.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a creative mindset.
Ability to effectively partner with others and build relationships.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will:
Develop and implement new standards, processes and resources that drive continuously improving, digitally transform the effectiveness of EHS learning programs and resources.
Ensure the learning curriculums have learner-specific, measurable objectives, clear competency measures and standardized, interactive content used by instructors, and job aids to facilitate learner and supervisor success.
Identify problems/gaps in the current business processes and systems, and work to implement the necessary changes to meet the target state, key performance indicators and action plans necessary to build and sustain a mature EHS learning library.
Lead and direct complex training focused initiatives, often requiring the coaching, training and work product review of others who are contributing to the mission of building/deploying effective learning.
Use mastery level of knowledge to find and implement innovative solutions that reduce business costs associated with the life cycle of a learning curriculum, while having a learner-focused program.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
