You will be a key member of the Medtronic Engineering team responsible for developing Medtronic’s Robotic Assisted Surgery platform through commercial launch and production scale-up, impacting patient outcomes.

A Day in the Life
The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer is a key contributor responsible for the released product engineering (RPE) of multiple subsystems, supporting both Capital and Consumable Robotics, across Medtronic’s Robotic Surgery Technology platform. The primary focus of this role will be on Robotic Consumables and Instrumentation, with secondary support provided for Capital Robotics.

It is expected that the engineer has technical knowledge and has demonstrated application of engineering principles, theories, and concepts in related field of expertise. This person will be expected to generate solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practical, and consistent with organizational objectives.
