Responsibilities
- Develop and advance design projects through all phases including landscape concepts, plans, and drawings.
- Prepare accurate CAD drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications per industry and firm standards.
- Employ advanced graphic communication skills to visualize and document design progression.
- Conduct site analyses to inform design decisions.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software to create visual presentations.
- Develop plant schedules, details, and specifications aligned with project goals and requirements.
- Review deliverables for accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as key contact for project coordination with clients, consultants, and municipal agencies.
- Collaborate with senior staff on proposals, presentations, and design reports.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary project delivery with civil engineering and other teams.
- Participate in design charrettes and client presentations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior design staff.
- Research sustainable design and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with municipal codes, zoning, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in project pursuits with high-quality exhibits and materials.
- Conduct construction site visits for quality assurance and adherence to design intent.
- Contribute to positive team culture.
Education
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field from an accredited program.
