Overview
Digital First solutions enable our partners to provide entirely digital payment experiences for consumers, with a physical card option. By combining Mastercard products and services with qualified third-party partners, we support each step of the digital consumer journey all the way from acquisition and card usage to control, and engagement.

Payments are on the precipice of industry-wide change driven by consumer demands for immediacy and convenience, and digital first experiences are leading the way. 56% of consumers believe receiving and using digital cards instead of physical cards is a behavior that’s here to stay. Mastercard’s Digital First Card Program continues to gain momentum as consumers seek out digitally-native, secure payments solutions.
Role
Accelerating the launch of Digital First Solutions is a key strategic priority for Mastercard. This will be accomplished by delivering an integrated consumer value proposition supported by go-to-market tools to support our regional teams and leveraging partnerships to drive scale and distribution of Digital First solutions.

In addition, the individual will play a critical role in future proofing our Digital First strategy and approach including enhancements to the value proposition, with a particular focus on Digital Products, driving scale across customer segments, and supporting our customers in enabling a better consumer experience. The individual will need to apply strategic and analytical rigor to refine thinking and enable deeper insights for the business to support with driving scale and execution of strategic initiatives. The individual will need to support in deploying new products to market including go-to-market activities and driving the product development roadmap.

Candidate should be intellectually curious, energetic, and able to operate with urgency. In addition, the role requires an individual who can demonstrate discipline in prioritizing efforts, and the ability to be comfortable managing through ambiguity. Candidate needs to have strong communication skills with an ability to garner buy-in from Executive Management, and experience in driving execution and alignment with Regional teams.
All About You
You will have relevant experience in the payment industry, product management, product development, with experience in the consumer and digital payments space and taking new products to market. You have a strong interest in digital payment solutions and initiatives and may have had recent involvement. You will have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to develop relationships and partnerships with a broad range of individuals across the organization.
Other key attributes:
• 5-10 Years experience in relevant or related field
• Product Development experience in relavant or related field
• Expertise in user experience research and design
• Understanding of technical concepts like APIs, databases, and payment processing
• Experience in building network products for credit card issuers and banks a plus
• Self-starter and motivated to work independently and as an effective team member
• Multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e., product management, consulting, marketing, business development
• Ability to comfortably lead strategic product conversations with senior internal stakeholders
• Excellent presentation, oral and written business presentation skills with various levels of audience
• Experience leading projects through all phases of the project / product development lifecycle
• Ability to handle multiple partners and projects from initiation to completion
• Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution and/or project management skills
• Understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends
• Intermediate technical/operations experience within financial payments industry
• Strong analytical and organiziational skills – ability to identify process/efficiency ehnanchements and attention to detail


Required Skills:
• Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
