Sr Analyst, Finance

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Trade Finance team, where you will play a crucial role in our financial planning processes and month-end close activities. Your work will involve detailed actual vs. plan variance analysis, as well as preparing and communicating financial reports and insights for divisional business managers and senior management. Budgets and forecasts will revolve around detailed bottom-up analysis of revenue and cost of goods sold. 

What you'll do:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in creating and maintaining complex Excel models. Continuously seeking ways to automate forecast models and finance processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Monthly Close Process Management: Perform the month-end closing activities, which include updating marketing reports, title count validation and month-end accruals.
• Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and deliver financial reports and analyses for Divisional Business Managers. Engage with these stakeholders to delve deeper into the financials, offering comprehensive support and clarifications, thereby enhancing the decision-making process by providing in-depth financial insight
• Process Improvement and Forecasting: Contribute to the exploration and application of AI tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
• Project Support and Ad-Hoc Analysis: Offer support for finance-related projects. Deliver ad-hoc analysis and insights as required, including gross margin analysis for sales to assist with strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

What you'll bring:

• Advanced Quantitative Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and Excel VBA, and experience with excel-based, multidimensional query-driven reporting systems and financial modelling.
• Financial Analysis Experience: Demonstrated ability in employing financial analysis techniques for creating precise forecasts and resolving discrepancies between actual results and plans by identifying the key drivers.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to interpret financial data, providing deep insights while being able to summarize complex findings in a concise overview, succinctly as needed.
• Adaptability and Prioritization: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with a keen focus on problem-solving and prioritizing work effectively.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven record of effective collaboration and communication across different teams, functions, and with global entities.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities; an independent problem-solver who can manage detailed analysis and present findings coherently.

Ideal Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting is required.
• Experience in designing Power BI dashboards is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. A Master’s Degree, CPA or other relevant professional certifications are a plus. 

This role will have an annual salary of $85,000 - $95,000.
