Skills
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and complex accounting transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Ability to independently assess and resolve complex accounting matters
- Capability to partner effectively across departments
Responsibilities
- Lead technical accounting for revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, and complex transactions
- Prepare and review technical accounting memos ensuring GAAP compliance
- Support audits and regulatory filings with well-documented accounting positions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, and legal for accurate accounting treatment
- Design and maintain internal controls and SOX readiness documentation
- Lead strategic initiatives including IPO readiness and system implementation
- Implement process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA certification
