Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Define and execute the long-term strategic vision and technology roadmap for the location platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Design, and Infrastructure to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Represent the team at executive forums communicating strategy, progress, and risks.
- Oversee platform architecture ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Develop and implement talent and succession planning strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on technical strategies and project outcomes.
- Influence company-wide standards and best practices through advocacy and strategic foresight.
- Drive operational excellence through data-driven performance monitoring and optimization.
- Champion innovation by encouraging experimentation with new technologies and tools.
- Contribute to Life360’s technical community by sharing knowledge and promoting industry best practices.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
