Meet the Family Law team

Family Law is a division of LEAP Legal Software which specialises in software solutions for our Family Law vertical. This is a one-of-a-kind team paving the way for a new structure in LEAP which focuses on tailored products for specific verticals of law. This team includes experienced legal professionals, developers, designers, and client-focused operational experts. We have in-house Australian Family Lawyers who are the experts in guiding the direction that our products take, along with a mature client feedback function.

What you'll do

You'll bring your expertise in Family law and your ability to understand our clients to focus on the needs of Family Law firms, and their legal software. You'll report to the Head of Product of the Family Law vertical and help drive the direction this business unit takes. The products you contribute to will see your colleagues in Family law soar and put them ahead of every other lawyer out there.

To make this happen, you will

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of Family Law practitioners to provide ongoing feedback to members of content and development teams to help drive the development of these products.
• Ensure clients use LEAP Family Law in the best possible way.
• Write legal content to be used in specific family law products.
• Test early versions of products, and provide clear feedback and direction to the product team.
• Partner with LEAP Development technologists to enhance the core product for Family law.
• Generate new ideas for development to benefit our LEAP Family Law clients.
• Educate clients on LEAP Family Law nationally, including delivering demos and webinars, attending seminars, networking events, and relevant conferences.

What you'll bring

• 3+ years of experience as a qualified Family Lawyer
• An interest for technologies and their application within the legal sector. A technical background, or good understanding of tech and AI is extremely beneficial.
• Excellent legal drafting skills.
• Strong presentation skills – you can effectively present LEAP features to a group of people and have the ability to read the room.
