DevOps Lead - VSA Operations

Role: DevOps Lead

Location: US Remote

Duration: Full-Time

Timings: 2-11 PM

Experience: 6+

Work Mode: Onsite

Skills to crack: DevOps/ CI-CD/ Cloud/ IaC/ configuration & monitoring tools experiences.

 Role Summary:

  • We need a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead for our VSA DevOps team.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading our project DevOps group, managing our servers, resolving security vulnerabilities, and supporting both Dev and QA teams.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of datacenter environments, network infrastructure, and the ability to build and document effective infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a DevOps leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of datacenter environments and network infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in managing servers, firewalls, hosts, and data storage systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible).
  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Zabbix).


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the DevOps team, ensuring efficient workflow and task management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategies with business goals.

Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Design, implement, and document robust infrastructure solutions, including firewalls, hosts, and data storage systems.
  • Monitor and optimize network environments to ensure seamless connectivity and security.

Security & Compliance:

  • Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities across the infrastructure.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

Continuous Integration & Deployment:

  • Support development teams in managing build pipelines and automating deployment processes.
  • Assist QA teams in setting up and maintaining testing environments.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.
  • Communicate effectively with SecOPS team to provide updates on project status and infrastructure changes.
  • Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations for knowledge sharing and compliance.
