Technical Lead (Remote - US)

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to guide the future of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) platform that supports an innovative, fast-growing business. You’ll lead a team of developers and administrators, make strategic technical decisions, and enhance operational performance through smart automation and architecture. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and operations leaders to ensure the WMS platform scales and evolves with business demands. Accountabilities:

• Serve as the technical authority for the WMS platform, driving modernization and architecture decisions.
• Lead and mentor a team of WMS developers and administrators to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.
• Identify and integrate automation, CI/CD, AI tools, and new capabilities to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Own and execute on the WMS roadmap, overseeing project delivery and system improvements aligned with operational needs.
• Work closely with Operations and business stakeholders to understand workflows and build scalable solutions.
• Maintain platform stability and define key performance metrics for proactive monitoring and optimization.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in WMS or enterprise systems in fulfillment environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring technical teams.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL development, and systems architecture; experience with HighJump/K.Motion is a strong asset.
• Skilled in Agile methodologies, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders, especially in operations.
• Experience with API integrations, system scaling, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with AI-driven development tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills with a bias for ownership and action.
