Senior Global Product Manager - Field Devices & Controls (onsite)

What you will do

At Johnson Controls, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of our Field Devices and Controls product portfolio. This role is critical in driving market adoption, competitive differentiation, and revenue growth through deep market insights, cross-functional collaboration, and compelling product narratives across North America and global markets.

This role will be responsible for shaping product narratives, driving go-to-market execution, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver impactful customer experiences and business growth. We prefer to have this individual based in the Milwaukee, WI, area, as this role is onsite. Or we can consider candidates that are able and willing to relocate.

How will you do it

· Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with key stakeholders including OEMs, system integrators, and facility managers.

· Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product and marketing strategies.

· VOC Deployment: Identify and prioritize market segments, customer personas, and use cases to conduct VOC and summarize product features for product development.

· Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution and customer satisfaction.

· Collaborate with sales & marketing for product launches and commercialization efforts. Manage marketing collateral, sales tools, and training materials to support global sales teams and channel partners

· Business Analytics & KPI Management : Able to process and integrate data from various sources in excel in power BI, dashboard management for KPIs( product/ portfolio P&L, win/loss rates, 80/20 execution, market trend reports )

What you will need

Required

· BS in Engineering, Business or Marketing

· Minimum 8+ years in Product Management ideally in HVAC, Commercial Refrigeration, Industrial Automation.

· Experience with agile development, product roadmaps & cross functional leadership.

· Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills

· Proficiency in excel & data analysis.
