Skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing accounting teams and processes
- Familiarity with audit processes and internal controls
- Proficiency with ERP systems like NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team supporting the general ledger function
- Oversee monthly and quarterly close ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal policies
- Partner with auditors for year-end audit processes
- Manage accounting for leases, fixed assets, payroll, debt, equity, and cash
- Maintain internal controls and procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
- Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and People Ops teams
- Support budget analysis and ad hoc business initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification strongly preferred
