Merchandise Planner

They are seeking a Merchandise Planner to drive sales and profitability by managing inventory and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal product allocation across e-commerce and retail.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems like NetSuite and Looker
  • Strong data analysis and insight synthesis abilities
  • Inventory and risk management skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration and communication
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly Risk Report to inform e-Commerce of inventory shortages
  • Create business review presentations with actionable performance insights
  • Participate in planning meetings to contribute data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning on SKU-level decisions
  • Support Sephora US weekly buys and retail store inventory management
  • Own 1-2 product categories with potential to expand
  • Lead long-range planning and Open-to-Buy recommendations
  • Drive strategic initiatives around packaging transitions and product discontinuations
  • Own forecasts, replenishment, and risk management for multiple categories
