Our team is small, highly motivated, and focused on providing a world class supercomputing experience. We put our customers first in everything we do, working hard to not just win the sale, but to win repeated business and customer referrals.
We hold ourselves and each other to high standards. We expect you to care deeply about the work you do, the products you build, and the experience our customers have in every interaction with us.
You must work hard, take ownership from inception to delivery, and approach every problem with an open mind and a positive attitude. We value effectiveness, competence, and a growth mindset.
Fluidstack is looking for a Head of Information Security to lead our product and corporate security programs. This role is responsible for safeguarding our internal and customer-facing systems, infrastructure, and data, ensuring we maintain a high bar for security across all layers of our stack.
You will work closely with the Engineering and Infrastructure teams to design, implement, and enforce controls that protect our software, cloud and on-premises environments, and sensitive information from unauthorised access, misuse, and breaches. As the most senior security leader, you’ll drive the adoption of best-in-class practices for secure development, data protection, threat detection, and incident response.
This role is foundational to how we scale securely, serving as a key partner across product, engineering, and GTM as we grow into new markets and customer segments.
Own end-to-end product and infrastructure security, from cloud and network security to application-level controls.
Define and enforce security architecture standards across our software systems and infrastructure.
Lead threat modeling, secure code reviews, and vulnerability management programs.
Implement and manage tooling for secrets management, intrusion detection, and data loss prevention.
Establish incident response protocols and lead resolution of security breaches or events.
Partner with Engineering to embed security into CI/CD workflows and development processes.
Work with Legal and GTM teams to meet customer and regulatory security requirements.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on controls, risks, and policies relevant to product security.
Support audit and certification efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) as they relate to systems and infrastructure.
Track emerging threats and ensure we stay ahead with proactive mitigation strategies.
Partner with top AI labs and security researchers to combat emerging threats specific to model training and inference.
7–10+ years of experience in product, infrastructure, or cloud security roles.
Expertise in securing modern cloud environments and containerised workloads (e.g., Kubernetes).
Deep understanding of secure development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps principles.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as HashiCorp Vault, Snyk, CrowdStrike, Wiz, or equivalent.
Familiar with security frameworks and standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
Strong communicator with the ability to influence engineering and leadership stakeholders.
Track record of balancing pragmatism with high standards of security and resilience.
Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
Health, dental, and vision insurance.
Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.
