We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Web Platform Team and help redefine the music industry. The company has invented a new technology to produce on-demand vinyl records and built a web platform for music creators to create and sell their products worldwide via our store at zero cost. We are working with the leading record labels, streaming services, digital service providers, distributors, and iconic global artists who are keen to partner with us to build a global solution for physical media. But most of all, we would also like to give small artists and artists at the beginning of their careers frictionless access to offer vinyl and CD to their fans via our innovative solution and planned production/fulfilment centres in Europe, USA and Asia.

The vinyl market has been growing on average more than 20% yearly over the last 16 years, and even CDs are growing for the first time in two decades. Over 30 million creators are releasing their music online today, and they are growing 30% a year. They represent the fastest-growing music segment. Most of them would like to have their music on vinyl or CD for their friends & family and especially their fans. elasticStage will provide them with easy and affordable access via its unique and scalable on-demand tech.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer. As a key member of our dynamic start-up, you will be responsible for building and scaling our web applications, ensuring high performance and reliability while delivering outstanding user experiences. You will work with a modern tech stack, including PHP, AWS, Docker, and various AWS services, and collaborate closely with other engineers to drive the product’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, designers, and product managers—to conceptualize and deliver robust software solutions.

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable client-side and server-side architecture.
• Develop visually engaging, high-performance front-end interfaces with a strong emphasis on user experience.
• Build and maintain reliable, secure, and efficient databases and backend services.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure application responsiveness, performance, and stability across platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, debug code, and oversee software upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and onboarding.
• Drive innovation by aligning technical solutions with user needs and business goals.
• Uphold code quality through peer code reviews, best practice enforcement, and proactive refactoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a PHP Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, web servers (e.g. Nginx) and UI/UX design.
• Experience developing with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony. 
• Expertise with AWS technologies, including Amazon RDS, Elasticache, CloudFront, and ElasticSearch.
• Familiarity with common stacks (AWS, Docker).
• Javascript experience with one or more JS frameworks (Vue, React), preferably Vue3 and have a good understanding of modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience in writing frontend and backend unit and integration tests (eg.: PHP Unit, Vitest, Cypress).
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure best practices.

Work Location
