- Experience building complex data visualizations using D3 or equivalent
- Proficiency in Django web framework for website development
- Testing, debugging, and profiling to enhance code functionality and performance
- Effective planning, estimation, and work organization
- Excellent communication skills across teams and management
- Ongoing learning of evolving front-end technologies
Responsibilities
- Develop new components and applications within React-based UI systems
- Create templates, configurations, and web application framework artifacts
- Collaborate with engineering team on backend API service integration and design
- Author CSS, markup, and JavaScript for advanced UI and data visualizations
- Research and integrate third-party CSS and JavaScript frameworks as needed
- Maintain code organization and adhere to best practices for readability and reuse
- Manage code changes and version control consistent with industry standards
- Measure and test functionality and performance of code changes
- Work with technical management on software development processes and goals
- Collaborate with design, product development, and senior management teams
Education
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in computer science or software engineering
