Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled SAFe Product Owner to support a high-impact Agile Release Train (ART) focused on enterprise data and analytics solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the data platform roadmap and delivering features that enhance data quality, stewardship, compliance, and analytics capabilities. The position requires close collaboration with product management, architecture, engineering, and diverse business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the team backlog, ensuring it aligns with business priorities and delivers maximum value.
• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap in partnership with Product Management and key stakeholders.
• Convert business requirements into detailed, actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog items and features based on business value, user feedback, and technical considerations.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure consistency and alignment on enterprise data initiatives.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and PI planning within the ART.
• Advocate SAFe methodologies and ensure alignment with ART-level Program Increment (PI) planning and execution.
• Engage stakeholders regularly to validate solutions, gather feedback, and manage expectations.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics including platform adoption, data quality, and delivery efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, openness, and teamwork.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jira Align, and AgilityHealth to track progress and manage workflows.

Qualifications

• SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager certification or at least 3 years working in a SAFe framework environment.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner within Agile teams.
• Proven experience with enterprise data platforms, analytics, or data governance initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe principles coupled with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in using Agile backlog management and planning tools, including Jira and Confluence.
