You’ll be the connective tissue between our finance engine and the day‑to‑day operations that power the business—owning everything that isn’t GTM, Product, or Engineering—including financial, compliance, people, and back-office functions. Part forensic accountant, part process designer, you’ll architect the systems that let leadership trust the numbers—then translate those numbers into action plans that improve margins, compliance, and cash flow.
You’ll dive deep into transaction data with the accounting team, streamline order‑to‑cash handoffs across teams, and tackle security questionnaires with Sales—all before lunch. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, spots efficiency gaps others miss, and enjoys automating themselves out of yesterday’s work so they can focus on tomorrow’s strategic improvements.

Financial Operations & Analytics – Partner with our accounting team to run a reliable monthly close process, coordinate with the accounting team to define and deliver dashboards for recurring revenue and cohort profitability, and model margin drivers across product lines and vendors.
People, Office & Knowledge Ops – Stand up systems for onboarding/offboarding, HR compliance, and office operations; centralize SOPs and documentation for cross-functional enablement.
Compliance & Contracting – Own security audits (SOC 2, HITRUST, HIPAA), customer security reviews, and vendor contracting. Track MSA/SOW terms and streamline intake with CLM software.
Procurement & Payments – Design a lightweight procurement flow, manage vendor onboarding, and implement AP/AR guardrails and tax-ready expense categorization.
Legal & Counsel Liaison – Serve as the first stop for legal requests and coordinate with external counsel to resolve contract and compliance matters.
Board & Investor Reporting Support – Help prepare board materials, investor updates, and operational dashboards that tell the financial story of the company.
Internal Systems Optimization – Identify internal tooling gaps across operations and finance and lead implementation or streamlining efforts.
Forecasting & Scenario Modeling – Partner with leadership to produce rolling 12‑month forecasts that tie bookings, billings, cash, and headcount together.
End-to-End Tax Compliance – Manage quarterly estimates, sales-tax nexus tracking, and R&D credit documentation in partnership with external CPAs.
Cost-to-Serve Optimization – Identify and negotiate vendor savings; design usage alerts that flag margin erosion before it shows up in financials.
People-Ops FinOps Loop – Align compensation bands, benefits costs, and equity refresh cycles with the financial plan to maintain burn discipline.
2‑4 years in FP&A, public accounting, or a similar analytical finance role at a high‑growth SaaS or tech‑enabled services company.
Fluency in GAAP basics, SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, LTV/CAC), and Excel/Google Sheets modeling (index/match, scenario analysis).
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and a contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool.
A knack for low-code automation and Generative AI (Zapier, Airtable, Retool) to kill repetitive tasks.
Demonstrated ability to juggle financials, vendor payables, and cross-functional ops projects without dropping balls.
Clear, concise communication—able to turn rows of data into executive-ready insights.
