Deneen Pottery is an over 50-year-old family-owned and operated company responsible for making the highest quality handmade mugs on the planet with an eco-friendly approach. We’re focused on brightening the day of millions across the country as they reach for their favorite mug every morning. Our green initiatives include installing a 399-rooftop solar array and setting up a waste reduction program that includes company-wide composting. We believe that work should be sustainable, rewarding and (dare we say it) even fun sometimes. Monthly updates are given by our president, and we have a self-funding profit-sharing program with quarterly payouts.
Key Accountabilities:
Serve the Customer - Building sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication. Provide accurate and complete information by using proven methods/tools. Educate customers on handmade processes, setting expectations for success. Mitigate customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, with team members or self-initiated, when challenges arise.
Onboarding New Customers - Responsible for onboarding new customers and order entry for existing customers. Understanding capacity and timing of production and estimated delivery dates to set customer expectations.
Assist on Program Accounts - Assist scheduling large customer program accounts including Restaurants, Internationally-known Coffee Brands, and State/National Parks. Work with the Customer Success Manager, Operations Director, Sales Leader, and fellow teammates, as well as clients.
Order Entry - Ability to enter orders and purchase orders accurately, use and maintain pricing tables, understand production schedules, and effectively communicate to set and manage customer expectations. Willingness to participate as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment to help tackle issues as they arise. Keeping a positive mindset and consistent communication with our team and our customers daily to proactively stay on top of whatever curves are thrown our way.
Requirements
We are looking for a team-player-people-person who can think on their feet and solve a variety of problems with a positive attitude. This is a 100% on-site position in an Apple Mac-based technology company.

This position has an hourly range of $21-$28 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate for this position. The final hourly rate will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
