Senior Platform Software Engineer
Skills
- Proficient in Go or Python programming languages.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with containerization, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform.
- Strong background in building large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with backend service development and system automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate foundational multi-cell platform components including service routing and account lifecycle control plane.
- Develop and automate tooling for seamless customer migrations to the new infrastructure.
- Write scalable backend services primarily using Go and Python, with opportunities to work with Rust.
- Implement automation with Kubernetes, Argo Workflows to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Lead best practices in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with product, security, and customer support teams to unblock features and mentor engineers.
- Own distributed systems operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience or relevant bootcamp completion considered.
