Curriculum Associates is seeking a temporary Editorial Quality Assurance Specialist to carry out proofreading, copyediting, and quality assurance testing for educational materials, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products for K-8 students.
Responsibilities: The role involves proofreading, copyediting, quality assurance testing, and ensuring adherence to style and instructional guidelines for educational materials, as well as communicating with internal and external teams to meet project deadlines.
Skills: Candidates must possess meticulous attention to detail, strong time management, communication skills, and experience with digital editing tools; proficiency in Spanish and skills like LaTex or accessibility testing may be required.
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 4 years of related experience is preferred.

We are seeking a Temporary Editorial Quality Assurance (EdQA) Specialist. The EdQA Specialist provides proofreading, copyediting, and quality assurance testing for accuracy and correct style on PDFs of print products and digital lessons. The successful candidate in this role will take an active part in copyediting and proofreading a variety of educational materials, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Pay Range – This role’s range is $28.00 - $35.00 per hour. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
Benefits – Temporary and per-diem employees who average at least 30 hours of work per week within the Company’s look-back period are eligible to enroll in medical coverage after 90 days of employment. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary and per-diem employees are eligible for accrued sick time.
