What you'll do:

• Forecasts labor and material costs for all projects based on analyses of project specifications, pricing schedules, and historical data.
• Lead estimates for complex marine and structural preservation projects
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership to define scope and budget
• Analyze drawings, specs, and vendor proposals
• Mentor junior estimators and guide best practices
• Track material, labor, and equipment costs to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
• Reviews estimates as requested and analyzes established standards for cost reductions

🛠️ You bring:

• 8+ years of estimating experience (marine/industrial preferred)
• Familiarity with structural and preservation scopes
• Proficient with MicroSoft Office suite of products and associated software applications
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• A cool head under pressure and a sharp eye for detail
• Leadership that inspires, not intimidates
