Customer Service Manager Job Summary

The Customer Service Manager oversees all facets of customer interaction, ensuring a high standard of satisfaction from order intake through fulfillment. This role supports strategic initiatives by managing a team, coordinating interdepartmental efforts, and upholding a service-first culture aligned with Circle Brands’ values.

Customer Service Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee customer orders from initiation to fulfillment
  • Ensure quote intake is timely and accurate in ERP and CRM systems
  • Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers
  • Address customer concerns and coordinate solutions with internal departments
  • Report customer feedback to improve service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP and CRM platforms
  • Coordinate shipping logistics and resolve delivery issues
  • Consult with production, shipping, or engineering to resolve customer issues
  • Provide or coordinate technical support as needed
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Lead, train, and support the customer service team
  • Evaluate team performance and foster continuous development
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Customer Service Manager Skills and Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and customer-oriented mindset

Customer Service Manager Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record over the past 3 years
  • Experience in customer service and people management

Work Environment

Primarily in a climate-controlled office with occasional visits to manufacturing or outdoor areas.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting/walking for extended periods (33% - 75%)
  • Occasional bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 25 lbs.)
