Peak Endodontics is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join their dynamic dental team. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the success of our practice and the overall oral health of our patients.


The Registered Dental Assistant role requires a hard-working individual who can also deliver a comfortable experience for our patients. The hourly wage range for this position is $22 - $30 per hour, depending on experience. Position will require working at Federal Way, WA location on a weekly basis.

What you’ll be accountable for:

  • Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to, restorative, surgical, exams, and cleanings. Prepare and arrange dental instruments, materials, and medications as needed.
  • Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have. Obtain and record patient's dental history and vital signs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, as well as maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Radiography: Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as per dentist's instructions. Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety measures are followed.
  • Educational Support: Instruct patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Educate patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage patient records, update treatment plans, and assist front office with scheduling patient appointments as needed.

Schedule: 4 days a week, varied schedule Mon-Fri

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
  • 1+ years of experience preferred
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state or ability to get registration after hire
  • Highly organized and attentive to patients’ needs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to explain procedures and educate patients.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and exhibit a compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a diverse dental team.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to travel to Federal Way, WA clinic location

This position operates in an office environment which includes working with and operating phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.?
