VP of Data Product Management

Channel Factory provides intelligent marketing solutions for the next generation of contextual safety, suitability, and performance for brands and agencies. Channel Factory is headquartered in the United States and has global offices across 20+ cities/countries. This position will be based in the United States. This role will report directly to our Chief Product Officer. 

We are seeking a VP of Data Product Management to lead and scale our data-driven product strategy, with a focus on contextual intelligence, AI enablement, and cross-platform optimization. This is a highly visible and impactful role—ideal for a hands-on, strategic leader with deep experience in data, advertising, and AI product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision for Contextual Data
    • Define and lead the north-star strategy for acquiring, classifying, enriching, and productizing content data across a range of taxonomies and signals (GARM/IAB, sentiment, DE&I, sustainability, forecast pricing, etc.).
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, marketing, and sales to shape long-term product differentiation.
  • Contextual Intelligence & Product Development
    • Build and own the roadmap for dashboards, APIs, and outcome-based solutions that make raw classification data actionable for clients.
    • Continuously improve product usability and performance for internal and external end-users.
  • Model Governance & Data Quality
    • Establish and monitor key metrics (accuracy, bias, latency, and coverage) to measure model health and client satisfaction.
    • Create feedback loops with customers and measurement partners; deliver quarterly “state of data” reports and benchmarking scorecards.
  • Cross-Platform Enablement
    • Ensure the scalability of our data platform across YouTube, Meta, TikTok, CTV, and emerging ecosystems.
  • Agentic & GenAI Solutions
    • Partner with your Tech counterparts to provide the contextual data elements required to deliver next-generation tools such as agent-based media optimization, auto-briefing systems, and GenAI-driven creative recommendations.
  • Leadership & Team Building
    • Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team of product managers; foster a culture of experimentation, ownership, and user-centric design.
    • Act as a cross-functional leader and internal evangelist for data and AI initiatives across the organization.
  • Revenue & GTM Alignment
    • Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to package, position, and launch data products that drive revenue.
    • Translate model and feature improvements into clear ROI narratives for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • 10+ years in product management with a focus on data, AI/ML, or contextual advertising.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end product development—from ideation to commercialization—in a high-growth tech or ad tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, DSPs, CTV).
  • Familiarity with content classification, taxonomies, AI models, and data APIs.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Experience managing and scaling product teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to travel for meetings, trainings, offsites, events, etc.
