About the Role:

Join Camunda to work on interesting and brand new products in the area of app integration for productivity tools like Slack and MS Teams. We are looking for creative and engaged individuals that help us to bring Camunda to our customers favorite productivity tools to meet people where they are.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build, maintain and release high quality and reliable NodeJS applications for SaaS and on-premise that integrate Camunda with external systems

• Integrate external authentication schemes with Camunda's own identity management solutions and supported identity providers

• Bring curiosity and willingness to learn a powerful process orchestration product and ideas on how to make it more accessible for other platforms via app integrations

• Develop, Test and Document high quality code and integrate it into an existing platform

• Take and own decisions about architecture and tools to that lead to high quality product experience and reliability

What You Bring:

• Ability and/or willingness to use and adapt our product to reach our goals

• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, focusing on backend and APIs using Node.js, Deno, or similar technologies.

• Strong understanding of building applications following the 12-factor app principles with web frameworks like Express, Hono, or NestJS.

• Ownership mindset - comfortable managing the codebase, deployment, and operation of software ("you build it, you run it" approach).

• Eagerness to explore and integrate with different codebases and APIs of other teams.

Nice-to-haves:

• Frontend experience with React and similar frameworks

• Proficiency in OIDC and identity solutions

• Experience integrating with MS Teams, Slack, or other messaging platforms (bots)

• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and associated challenges

• Experience with Kubernetes and observability tools like Grafana

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence. 

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows: 

• United States: $109,300.00 to $164,000.00
  

• Germany: €72,700.00 to €109,100.00

• United Kingdom: £70,900.00 to £106,300.00

• Singapore: S$135,800.00 to S$203,700.00

If you are outside one of these countries, you would be employed by our Preferred Employer Organization (PEO), Remote.
