Job Summary

The Senior Program Manager of Apprenticeship and Transitional Programs autonomously drives apprenticeship and/or related programs across Caliber. The Senior Program Manager is typically aligned to one or more national apprenticeship and/or transitional programs and responsible to drive effective management of the programs. The Senior Program Manager establishes and maintains vital internal and external partnerships that enable the delivery of training programs that meet Caliber, Caliber partner, and statutory requirements. This role drives adherence to program parameters, provides meaningful reporting and analytics on key success factors to all stakeholders, and optimizes programs to meet Caliber business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Autonomously develops and plans methods and procedures for implementing programs.
  • Directs and coordinates program activities, and exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of programs.
  • Acts as SME for all aspects of the assigned program.
  • Maintains strong and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • May lead and manage support resources dedicated to the assigned program(s)
  • Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to opportunities as they arise.
  • Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
  • Reviews current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals.
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives.
  • Identifies opportunities for program enhancements and/or improvements that drive continuous improvement of program deliverables and performance.
  • Presents program growth and enhancement plans to key stakeholders.
  • Prepares program reports for leaders and key stakeholders.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in program management.
  • Must have the ability to develop or assess materials that will help teammates understand the programs.
  • Must have skills to determine the best way to train teammates and meet the needs of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities and make independent decisions.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to consult with teammates at all organizational levels.
  • Actions embody Caliber’s Core Values.
