The Role
People who do well on this team are self-motivated engineers with a passion for our business and technologies. We are looking for individuals with deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Typescript, and Node. In-depth experience with React, Redux, Jest, Azure SQL, and MongoDB are strong pluses. However, the ability to adapt to changing technology is an important strength we’d like to see in you. We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our FinTech team. You will work with an agile development team, interact with product management, perform code reviews, and act as a mentor to other developers on your team to help us build and maintain high-quality web applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using modern web technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help guide and mentor other full stack developers to understand business and technical concepts to improve code quality and speed.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements :
Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role.
Mastery with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong experience with a Node.js framework like Hapi.js or Express.js
Experience with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
Experience working on large single page web applications with complex state management.
Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic-React-UI, Material, Tailwind, or similar.
Experience writing unit and integration tests with tools such as Jest, Chai, Cypress, or similar.
Experience performing code reviews to ensure security, code quality, maintainability, and knowledge sharing among team members.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with SAP/BTP integrations a plus.
Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Very strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Location: This is a hybrid role in our Nashville, TN office.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $110,000 - $130,000 in Los Angeles. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
