Job Overview:

Sr Engineer – Python Eng/Dev with SQL

Key Responsibilities:

Database Development & Management:

· Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

· Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.

· Implement and manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

· Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.

Application Development:

· Integrate backend databases with front-end applications and APIs.

· Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences.

· Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Project & Team Collaboration:

· Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and project managers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

· Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

· Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.

· Document technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Hands on exp in python

· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later).

· Strong command of T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.

· Proficiency in Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Entity Framework.

· Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or other SQL Server tools is a plus.

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.

· Experience with version control systems like Git, TFS, or Azure DevOps.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: SQL Server, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics, or Azure Developer Associate.

· Experience with cloud platforms like Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.

· Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

· Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools

$65 - $70 an hour
