What You'll Be Working On

We’re a nimble team building toward outsized growth, and we’re looking for a seasoned, full-cycle Recruiter who will be instrumental in scaling our hiring practices—not just in headcount, but in maturity. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to bring structure to scrappy systems, lead full-cycle hiring across diverse functions, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to find and secure exceptional talent. If you have a sharp eye for spotting potential, a knack for shaping scalable recruiting systems, and love rallying teams toward hiring great people, this might be your ideal role. 


This is a 6-month temporary contract role with runway, reporting to the Head of People and Talent. This role is based in San Carlos, CA, but we are also open to fully remote candidates within the U.S. The base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000.  


Core Responsibilities 🛠️
  • Own full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing to close, for roles across hardware, software,manufacturing, business, customer operations, warehouse production and more. 
  • Experiment with and implement innovative sourcing strategies — help us meet candidates where they are. 
  • Play a central role in building a flexible, efficient, and repeatable recruiting engine, including development of light reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into pipeline health and time-to-fill. 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to shape and refine interview processes that are clear, consistent, and inclusive. 
  • Elevate and evolve our current recruiting playbook — bring structure without slowing us down. 
  • Collaborate with People Ops to ensure smooth candidate handoffs and seamless onboarding. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our current tech and tools — including evaluating recruiting systems, guiding potential ATS migration, and supporting tech stack optimization and change management. 
  • Manage external vendors and agencies as needed, ensuring the best ROI and alignment with hiring priorities. 


Desired Qualifications ✅
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across diverse technical, operational, and business roles. 
  • Have a track record of successfully sourcing passive candidates through creative outreach and targeted engagement strategies 
  • Consistently closes hires by balancing decisive action with a commitment to alignment between candidate aspirations and company needs. 
  • Have built and refined recruiting processes, interview plans, and scalable hiring playbooks, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a comfort for ambiguity. 
  • Comfortable using data to drive decisions, building simple dashboards and tracking key metrics like pipeline health and time-to-fill. 
  • Established strong partnerships with cross-functional leaders, ensuring hiring strategies aligned with evolving team priorities through clear and consistent communication. 
  • Designed and implemented equitable interview and assessment processes, with a strong commitment to inclusive hiring practices. 
  • Proficient with recruiting tech stacks, including ATS evaluation and optimization; experienced in leading teams through system and process transitions. 
  • Has managed recruiting vendors and agencies, ensuring performance aligns with hiring needs and ROI.
