Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, well abstracted, and robust APIs, libraries, and services
- Own functionality and scalability features from inception to deployment and integration
- Document functionality for UI, third-party developers, and internal/external tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and promote continuous improvement
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine requirements
- Provide mentorship through code reviews and best practice education
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or a related technical discipline from a top university
