Responsibilities of the Enterprise Technical Consultant role:
 

Collaborate with internal (BD) and external (customer) resources to drive a one account team approach and ensure seamless, timely and clear communication across the teams.

• Represent voice of the customer internally (BD) with respect to enhancements and future road mapping opportunities

• Serve as key escalation point and point of resolution for outstanding priority problems and onsite issues.

• Requires strong consultative skills, knowledge of clinical and/or IT operations, knowledge of Pyxis solutions, analytical ability to identify and translate trends, change management, project management and exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization

• Build and maintain executable plans to address these areas of opportunity and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to achieve continuous improvement objectives

• Ensure smooth adoption of the BD product by aligning it with customer goals. Support all Implementation activity in coordination with implementation team.

• Responsible for continued technical support of installed BD Pyxis solutions within the customer’s current environment.

• Ability to represent BD Medication Management suite

• Engage directly with assigned customer (s) to provide preventative maintenance and technical support for company products at customer facility locations.

• Work with the BD Upgrade Team to support effective, timely and quality upgrades of installed Pyxis solutions including after-hour and weekend support.

• Support product expansions and align toward implementation timelines.

• Partner with BD Enterprise Program Manager, Project Manager, Field Service Engineer and Designated Remote CSC Support to communicate onsite challenges and assist with resolution.  Onboarding PMs for Mayo specific Imp Timeline.

Special Skills and Competencies:

• Knowledge of clinical, pharmacy and/or IT operations

• BD Pyxis product knowledge one or more (Pyxis Medstation, Pyxis CII Safe, Pyxis Logistics).

• Detailed-oriented Professional with strong technical proficiency   

• Exceptional professional skills; presentation, verbal, written at all levels of the organization

• Project Management, Account Management and Leadership capabilities preferred

• Critical thinking, problem solving

Education and Experience Required:

• High School Diploma plus 3-5 years Pharmacy, Pharmacy Tech or Nursing and/or IT experience

• Based out of Rochester, MN with ability to travel at least 40-50% of the time to alternate Mayo sites/facilities.

Qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.

• Upon hire, must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites to perform crucial job functions. Proofs must include Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
