Position Overview
As a Senior Program Manager focused on Strategic Workforce Planning, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Autodesk to strategically plan for its workforce needs today, tomorrow, and in the future. You will be responsible for integrating stakeholder feedback and insights into actionable process and product enhancements, driving end user satisfaction and retention, and building out methodologies and tools to support workforce planning framework across the organization. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Anaplan Product Management, Legal, Finance, People Business Partners, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and other Centers of Excellence within the People and Places organization.
This position will report to the Director, Workforce Planning and it will be 100% remote in the U.S., Canada, or Germany.
Responsibilities
Develop program structure to enable Workforce Planning frameworks, guidelines, and playbooks to support Autodesk business objectives
Manage the ongoing Workforce Planning program and governance
Create and implement processes for tracking and measuring the impact of changes in stakeholder satisfaction and retention
Partner with IT, Finance and People Insights and Solution Design (“PISD”) to build an Anaplan model to support the Workforce Planning program
Enable the development and prioritization of features and enhancements in the SWP product roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders
Facilitate regular meetings with Product Management, PISD and stakeholders to discuss and align on priorities
Establish benchmarking discipline to inform Workforce Planning decisions
Build strong partnerships with Talent Acquisition, Corporate Real Estate, Legal, Government Affairs & Public Policy (“LGAPP”), Total Rewards, and Finance leaders to create a connected Workforce Planning program approach
Enable the building of capability across Business Leaders and HR Business Partners in Workforce Planning
Work with external consultants to scope and manage engagements related to Workforce Planning
Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders to enable continuous process improvement
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in program management; prior experience in workforce planning highly preferred
Experience bringing product insights to market for stakeholders or internal teams
Ability to provide subject matter expertise in program management and governance
Strong ability to translate business requirements and outcomes into strategic recommendations and actionable plans
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Expertise with using program and project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Miro, etc)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
Ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel with high levels of quality and impact
BA/BS in a relevant field (Business, Strategy, Economics, etc.) or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Services / Consulting experience
Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus but not required
Experience working with or for a global organization
