- Strong background in control of autonomous vehicles or mobile robots
- Proficient in modern software development practices with 4+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience testing control solutions on production-grade vehicles
- Fluency in differential equations, numerical optimization, and physics
- Ability to apply academic research in practical control systems
Responsibilities
- Design and implement controls modules for autonomous vehicle navigation
- Characterize vehicle dynamics to tailor controls solutions and reduce simulation-real world gaps
- Develop optimal-control-based solutions using nonlinear MPC and MPPI techniques
- Collaborate with customers’ engineers and manage customer relationships
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Master’s or PhD in mechanical engineering or computer science with controls coursework preferred
Benefits
- Base salary of $170,000 to $250,000 annually
