SUMMARY: The Apple Ads creative team activates on all advertising and marketing efforts to ensure the creative development and implementation of world-class communications. As a Senior Writer on this team, you would work under the limited direction of a Creative Director (CD), and bring the story of our products to life on the website. You’ll writeheadlines (and lots of them) and body copy (long and short in length) for everything from the latest product to different services. And, you’ll be tasked with describing complex technology in friendly language that’s simple enough for everyone to understand.

Description

Write beautiful website copy that makes complex technologies seem amazingly simple. Craft insightful, thoughtful headlines across web, email, events, campaigns, and new product launches. Solve problems conceptually in collaboration with the broader marketing team — including designers, art directors, UX designers, developers, and platform and product leads. Communicate effectively — verbally and in writing — with other creatives and marketing managers, engendering trust and respect. Regularly review creative work with the group’s senior creative staff to get feedback on direction, and to ensure the work is aligned with other activities in the group. Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience at an advertising agency, digital agency, or in-house creative group for a major or upcoming brand. Bachelor’s degree. Experience collaborating with ACDs, CDs, and Product Marketers to refine copy until it’s flawless. You’re always up to date on the latest products, solutions, and related technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

An award-worthy portfolio demonstrating strategic insight and writing talent through advertising campaigns, digital campaigns, film, and video. Extensive knowledge of style guides and content management systems. An ability to think within a brand system and mindfully navigate a user’s journey while writing to multiple audiences. An innate ability to confidently articulate ideas and present work to senior executives. You set a blistering pace on every project; exhibiting a vision for the work, minding the details, and solving business problems in a deep and meaningful way.
