- Expertise in electronics manufacturing and supplier quality engineering.
- Knowledge of PCBAs, microcontrollers, FBGAs, and electrical components.
- Experience with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, and MIL-STD.
- Strong analytical skills using statistical tools such as MatLab, JMP, or MiniTab.
- Understanding of product development methodologies like FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.
- Proficient in supplier audits, quality system assessments, and corrective action management.
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and drive supplier accountability.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to supplier and manufacturing locations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with design teams to provide manufacturability feedback and generate product data for PCB/PCBA parts.
- Support internal design processes with expertise in electronics materials, inspection, and DFM.
- Drive supplier quality development through design reviews, testing, qualification, and process alignment.
- Collaborate with engineering and sourcing teams to manage supplier performance and address deviations.
- Lead supplier qualification activities including audits, PPAP, FAIR, and inspection development.
- Manage root cause analysis, corrective actions, and supplier containment processes.
- Audit supplier Quality Management Systems and ensure compliance with flow-down requirements.
- Support and lead onsite supplier audits and quality reviews.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
