Flight Test Operator
Skills
- RC pilot experience on rotary and fixed wing aircraft including propeller and turbine engines.
- FAA Part 107 certification and ability to pass FAA written exam.
- Familiarity with Pixhawk, PX4, Arduplane, and other flight controllers.
- Competency in assembling and basic programming of RC aircraft.
- Knowledge of National Airspace regulations and operating restrictions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and fly various remote controlled fixed wing and quadcopter aircraft including Anvil system and target drones.
- Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for ground and flight testing.
- Collaborate with Test Engineering teams on flight execution, material preparation, and test profile support.
- Assist with integration, third-party installations, and functional equipment checks.
- Support site management with maintenance, inventory, and general office tasks.
- Travel to test sites as required.
Education
- GED or higher.
- FAA Part 107 certificate or eligibility.
