- Experience with electromechanical integration ensuring compatibility between mechanical and electrical components.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems compliant with MIL-STD-810 specifications for vibration, shock, thermal, and environmental durability.
- Perform mechanical simulations including FEA, modal, vibration, and thermal analysis to verify design reliability.
- Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers to integrate electromechanical components effectively.
- Lead structural integrity testing and ensure compliance with military-grade environmental test criteria.
- Develop and document detailed mechanical design specifications, simulation reports, and testing protocols.
- Support prototype development and collaborate with manufacturing teams for feasibility and cost optimization.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing and Design for Reliability principles to enhance product quality and safety.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews to identify and mitigate mechanical and electromechanical risks.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
