Job Description
Our client, an established media company near Dulles, VA, is searching for a Senior Manager-to-Director of Tax Planning to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Seek opportunities to optimize tax positions.
- Research and monitor new federal and state tax legislation.
- Identify potential issues in tax preparation; Offer alternative solutions.
- Liaise with M&A and BD teams to identify tax risks and liabilities.
- Support tax reporting team with forecasting, reporting and compliance.
- Contribute to audit preparation.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as requested.
Qualifications
- 10 – 15 years of progressive federal and state tax experience.
- Big 4 background.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- JD or CPA license.
- Proficiency with tax systems.
