Job Description

You will be part of a strategic initiative focused on building a configurable tool for managing risk model versions (PD, LGD, RWA), in line with strict regulatory standards. Developed using Angular and integrated into a broader banking ecosystem, the solution supports simulation, testing, and production workflows while ensuring full compliance with financial regulations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical delivery: Drive the front-end development using Angular and TypeScript, provide technical direction ensuring quality, scalability, and compliance alignment, code reviews, and mentorship
  • Shape architecture: Contribute to technical design and ensure adherence to architectural and regulatory requirements, stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and advocate for their appropriate adoption 
  • Collaborate across roles: Act as a bridge between the technical team and the client, working closely with product owners and stakeholders, clarifying requirements, and proposing realistic delivery roadmaps and timelines 
  • Ensure delivery excellence: Maintain version control, support secure deployments, and guide teams through development and release cycles 
  • Mentor and support: Provide guidance to developers, support onboarding, and contribute to team growth and technical consistency 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in web development with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Solid understanding of RxJS, Observables, Subjects, and reactive design patterns 
  • Mastering best practices and performance in Angular applications 
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and micro-frontend concepts
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and branching and deployment strategies using tools like Docker, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with unit testing (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest) and end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
  • Strong understanding of scalable front-end architecture and client-server communication. 
  • Experience in regulated environments, especially financial or audit-driven projects 
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong technical decision-making
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail in both development and planning phases
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, also mentoring and guiding development teams

Nice to Have: 

  • Knowledge of backend technologies and patterns (e.g., Node.js, Java) and how they integrate with front-end systems
  • Experience with regulatory compliance projects or complex UI/UX prototyping 
  • Exposure to banking processes and enterprise-grade workflows 
  • Exposure to monorepos and tools like Nx
