Skills
- 10+ years software development experience
- Proficiency in object-oriented and scripted languages
- Experience with backend web design and development
- Expertise in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
- Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira
- Experience testing web-based applications
- Experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, and develop requirements documents and functional models
- Design and develop backend architectures and support new system capabilities
- Develop and modify RESTful APIs
- Manage databases and optimize data models
- Conduct system tests and document results to ensure compliance
- Lead software development programs or projects
- Work with cloud environments and DevSecOps tool suites
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience
