The Insights team’s mission is to gather the data required to deliver impactful reporting and actionable insights anywhere they are needed by admins, developers, and automations. We own a wide and complex domain, spanning data streaming, infrastructure, and core services for all 1Password clients. Our engineers tackle challenging problems, such as unifying diverse audit events and optimizing large-scale data platforms, directly contributing to 1Password's security posture and customer value.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada. This position will be for 4 months - September to December 2025.

What you can expect:

• Develop features end-to-end, encompassing backend logic, data storage, and frontend UI

• Participate in code reviews, both receiving feedback on your own work and providing constructive comments on peers' work.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners like Product, Design, and other Software Development teams.

• Humility: You're not afraid to ask "stupid" questions and make mistakes (as long as you learn from them).

• Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are.

Bonus points for:

• Back end experience in Go.

• Front end experience in React.

Our approach to remote work 
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of most roles. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.
