The 1Password Demo Engineering team works closely with many cross-functional teams to deliver assets to support our customer’s demo experience. These demos and self-guided walkthroughs are used primarily by our Solutions Engineering and GTM Sales teams. However, you’ll also partner closely with Customer and Sales Enablement as well as Product Marketing and our Web team to build assets that are used on our marketing website, trade shows, and for internal and external training. In addition to creating new demos based on product changes, you’ll work with Solutions Engineering to create customer-specific demos to match customer requirements or use cases. You’ll work closely with the rest of your team to ensure proper demo governance, maintenance, and effectiveness.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years experience as a Solutions Engineer or in other similar customer-facing activities in a B2B/multiproduct SaaS environment with a preference for working on the creation of demo assets

• Demonstrated ability to disseminate and popularize technical information for a general audience.

• Experience with learning new information quickly

• Great presentation and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate to technical assets and leave behinds

• A keen eye for detail and quality with the demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and intuitive demos

• Excitement when it comes to investigating, testing, and exploring solutions and tools

• Strong level of autonomy with the ability to drive projects with general guidance

• Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and understanding the impact of changes across the ecosystem

• Experience working with SaaS tools is a must

• Maintain a high-level understanding of AI technologies and demonstrate confidence in learning and creating content for the company's evolving AI roadmap for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Familiarity with web development technologies like CSS, HTML, and Javascript

• Demonstrated ability to understand and report on analytics to measure the effectiveness of the content we create

• Familiarity with a SaaS demo creation platform is a must. Bonus points if that platform is Reprise

• Additionally, it’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager as well as experience with Identity and Access Management tools—while not required, it’ll help you gain confidence quickly in this role.

What you can expect:

• Serve as a primary creator of moderately complex content (e.g, guided demos) in 1Password Demo Engineering team

• Proactively scope and build tailored demos and walkthroughs

• Build collaborative cross-funtional relationships to assess needs and the effectiveness of the assets we create

• Adhere to a strong program of governance for the demo program to ensure assets are well-kept, relevant, and effective

• Record video content, create web assets, and other ancillary deliverables to embed into demos to increase engagement

• Occasional travel, including cross-border travel, may be required for conferences, customer on-sites, and company off-sites.

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $77,000 USD and $104,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $72,000 CAD and $98,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
