Data Analyst

Winsupply is in the business of creating and enabling entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams through wholesale distribution. Winsupply is a group of over 670 locally-owned companies that operate across a variety of industries, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and more. The purpose of the support services campus is to eliminate obstacles and provide support to help our entrepreneurs succeed. Support service employees assist entrepreneurs in achieving their dreams through finance, accounting, IT, and other back-office operations.

Position Summary

The Merchandising Data Analyst I is deeply involved in data enrichment activities. This position is a technical “go-to” resource for higher level Search & Navigation, Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM) functionality.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Performs data enrichment activities including Product maintenance and build, attribution, and digital asset collection and promotion in support of Ecommerce platform.
• Performs data analysis of content and system data to ensure quality information to achieve ecommerce objectives.
• Contributes to enhancement of Master Data and ecommerce site content by developing and improving data quality.
• Assists in identifying and resolving data quality problems through effective use of error detection and issue resolution techniques.
• Creates and maintains supporting documentation, such as standard procedures, user guides, and other necessary training and job aid materials.
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems (work experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• 1+ year(s) of experience using PIM and/or MDM tools.
• 2+ years of experience involved with Data Governance, Data Management, and/or Data Quality initiatives.
• Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica Product 360 and MDM platforms.
• Experience with Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of relational databases.
• Willingness to learn new toolsets and processes.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Experience in wholesale distribution.
• Experience with building supplies or hardware.
