[WEBTOON] Marketing Operations Coordinator (Independent Contract)

The Marketing Operations Coordinator (Contract) will play a vital role in supporting the operational execution of marketing activities. and ensure that we are using our resources more effectively and efficiently. This position will most closely support the Brand and Content and Creative teams but will interface with the Growth Marketing team as well. 

• Register new vendors in the system.
• Track and process vendor and freelancer invoices by directly coordinating and communicating with them on submission dates and protocols, submitting the invoice in the WEBTOON system and ensuring that it is routed and approved properly, tracking payment of the invoice, and addressing any ad hoc questions, as necessary.
• Assist Creative Project Manager  in coordinating internal creative production resources and workflows.
• Assist in preparing reports for management on creative asset performance, and resource allocation.
• For licensor-driven titles, lead the coordination of asset trafficking and approvals with licensors. This will require coordinating activities cross-functionally to create, maintain, and update a comprehensive marketing asset tracker, ensuring alignment and visibility across projects.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external partners to deliver marketing assets for approval, gather and relay partner feedback to relevant teams, and monitor deadlines to ensure timely delivery and approval of all assets.

• Assist in reviewing production resource tools to identify operational gaps and suggest process improvements to streamline operations.
• Maintain up-to-date records of internal marketing processes and workflows. 

• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the smooth execution of marketing operations.

• 1+ years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or creative operations

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) skills  
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com)

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of WEBTOON, webcomics, and anime sphere online is a major plus
• Experience with asset management tools and marketing platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Airtable, Wrike) is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing workflows, including vendor management, invoice processing, and campaign tracking.
